Hey everyone

As I sit in the premiere lounge of the hotel I am staying in which overlooks Juhu beach I thought I would drop you a little ‘hello’ from Mumbai

It is our last day here and it is everything I expected it to be – hot, dusty, lots of slums, gorgeous food, beautiful clothes and friendly locals. The nightlife is ‘totally rocking’ (well, they don’t actually say that but it sounds good)

I haven’t done as much shopping as I thought I would but have got what is apparently a Tarun Tahilani saree and also the Manish Malhotra saree I have blogged about previously in a post about StylishDesi..

My dream of visiting a hotspot which was featured in my faaaavouritest book EVER Shantaram came true yesterday when I visited Leopolds Cafe in Colaba

Visited a lovely Italian restaurant called Aurus yesterday and had the tastiest Sea Bass ever (my boss would be proud!

 

Anyway must dash! lots more bargain hunting to do…
