Welcome to part 3 of my ‘my fave Bollywood songs’ post.

This time Item Numbers.

Item numbers are used in Indian films to add ‘value’ to the movies soundtrack and for a bollywood star to make a ‘special’ appearance for some added glamour. It is usually a song completely irrelevant to the major plotline of the movie and normally featuring a uber SEXY Lady x

So, I have collated 4 of my favourite item numbers.

1. My all time fave is Beedi jalayle from Omkara where Bipasha Basu looks super sultry!

2. Has to be a classic item number ‘Mehbooba’ from the legendary Sholay which features the  ultimate vamp, Helen

3. A recent favourite, Munni Badnaam Hui from Dabangg. I actually prefer Sheila Ki Jawani from Tees Maar Khan but seeing as I already did a blog feature on it I have given credit to Munni as it is a very, very catchy track and Mallaika Arora looks HOT!

4. Its Rocking from Kya Love Story Hai starring a ravishing Kareena Kapoor.. didn’t like the movie but think the song is really feel good x
