Cheryl Cole to get X-Factor Pay Rise?

Reports suggest the Girls Aloud singer will get an extra 700k…

Cheryl Cole will allegedly earn an extra £700,000 if she returns to the X Factor judging panel, according to reports.

TV executives are said to be ‘desperate’ to get the Girls Aloud star back on the panel after her huge success on the show.

The judges, including Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and pregnant Dannii Minogue will negotiate their contracts this month with Cheryl being the most sought after member of the notorious judging panel.

An insider told the News of the World: “Signing Cheryl is our absolute priority. She’s a huge part of the show and she doesn’t need to do it now her solo singing career is so successful,”

They added: “She deserved to be rewarded and we needed to make sure she definitely re-signed. If we lost viewers it would cost us a lot of money,”

If the Fight For This Love hitmaker is rewarded with the extra 700k, she is set to earn a cool £1.7 million for her stint on the show.

The source said: “She will take a pay increase but that’s not why she does the show – she’s not someone driven by money at all.”

Cheryl is also rumoured to have been offered $2.2 million to take her seat on the US version of X Factor and is already said to be house-hunting with the help of Simon Cowell in LA.

One man who will hope the 3 Words singer does take the plunge and moves to America is Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford.

In a recent interview, the actor said of Cheryl: “She’s gorgeous. I’ve never met her, but I saw her photo.”

He added: “She has those big doe eyes and she’s brunette. It’s also the English accent…”

Crawford, who recently quit his role in the Footloose remake joins a hoard of Cheryl admirers including Will.I.Am, Derek Hough and the JLS boys.
