So, it has been a few weeks since I started my new job and properly moved to London. I haven’t blogged for a long time so while I snack on junk food such as Walkers Extra Crunchy salt and vinegar crisps and doughnuts with chai and I wait for the beautiful Rita Morar to pick me up to take me to the Bhaktivedanta Manor with her later I thought I would update you all as to what is happening.
I started my new marketing job for a prestige automotive retailer 3 weeks ago and I absolutely love it, don’t get me wrong it is hard work and tiring but I love it as my work on their social media is appreciated, I can use my skills from my previous two jobs and implement them, suprisingly people actually listen to me!
Flat hunting was a nightmate! I must’ve seen about 15 places but ended up with a fab place in West London. Its a house share and I am living with an eclectic bunch. I have people from China, Korea, Albania and Uganda but luckily everyone is nice and gets up at different times so theres no fight for the bathroom! It’s close to the station and theres a highstreet down the road so very convenient.
Love is still eluding me but that is ok. It has been a little lonely seeing as I went from living with family to people I hardly know and it does get lonely being alone in the evenings but it gives me time to do stuff I wouldn’t have usually and gives me time to concentrate on things I wouldn’t usually have time to do.
I’m looking forward to Christmas and New Years in London, going out, exploring, attending events and meeting new people x
Hi, glad to hear that not only have you got a job now, but also that it’s something you love. And I know the feeling of being single. I was in that position for over five years, although partly that was due to me stupidly thinking just one date would lead to a relationship I couldn’t get out of which would result in her moving in and I like my space, but I’m doing okay and we both enjoy our own space too π

Welcome to London !!! It can get a bit too much sometimes, and very lonely other times specially for us Indians who are used to lots of family and friends – So try to be patient and don’t hesitate to ask for company
