My Version of Olly Murrs ‘Thinking of Me’

This is one my mine (and my brothers) fave songs. Thinking Of Me by the gorj Olly Murrs.

I always thought so many people can relate to this song, whether it be lovers, friends or family.

I have slightly re-written the songwords to Thinking of Me to tribute to people in my life.

Here we go:

Summer time in Notting-ham an’ i’m making plans
I’m gunna be rockin my new Raybans
If you’re sitting still reading my Shantaram
Or, if you’re somewhere listening to my Atif CD
Then I know that you’re somewhere thinking of me

Do you still deny that women think you’re such a hottie?
Remember when the girls watched Love Actually
When we played on that fruit machine in London city
Do you still have Chambord shots by the 3?

Then I know that you’re somewhere thinking of me
Oh yes you are
Then I know that you’re somewhere thinking of me
Oh oh oh yeah

No point regretting that I liked you so
No point regretting you never liked me back
The chats that we had were oh so inspiring

But when I look behind
I’m so glad we had that time

I remember you taking me in your Suzuki Swift
Sitting in bars and pubs drinking wine
Then you and I had a holiday in Tunisia
If you remember just how tanned we used to be

Then I know that you’re somewhere thinking of me

I know….. wherever you go
That you’ll be thinking about me now
I know….. wherever you go
That you’ll be thinking about me

Bumped into Manjula on Melton Road
She told me that you’re married now
She said you musta like her cos she cooks so nice
But I remember that you never treated me right

Well I
I know…. wherever you go
That you’ll be thinking about me now
I know…. wherever you go
that you’ll be thinking about me now
I know…. wherever you go
that you’ll be thinking about me now
