I don’t often blog about work related stuff but I had to do about this.
My work place is wonderful and lets us have a day off to volunteer in the local community. At the end of November myself and some of my colleagues took up the opportunity and we went to volunteer at The Rainbows and Young Peoples Hospice in Loughborough.
What a wonderful place! The hospice provides care for children with life limiting illnesses.
On their Facebook page they say “Children with a short life to live have a lot of living to do, that’s why Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People makes every minute special.”
The work they do is just amazingly thought provoking. The facilities, the people and the grounds are awesome. The care they provide is just priceless….
But they still need your help:
Visit the Rainbows website: http://www.rainbows.co.uk/

They have a Twitter page you can follow them on: twitter.com/RainbowsHospice
