Long time no update so I thought as its quiet and rainy at work I would take this opportunity to update you with lots of happenings in my film watching cosmos

Now you all know I love my bollywood but I have been un-impressed with recent bollywood fares. Kites is an excellent movie! It has a Spanish lady falling in love with an Indian man, set in Las Vegas they go on the run from a very rich, but dangerous, family! That’s all I can say. Watch it if you like films that aren’t typical ‘masala’ Bollywood flicks!

Ps, Hrithik looks hot!

Iron Man 2

Starring – Robert Downey Junior, Scarlett Johansson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Mickey Rourke, Samuel L Jackson and Don Cheadle

If you loved the last one then you won’t be disappointed with the second instalment from the Iron Man series! Directed again by Mr Jon Favreau who I will always remember for his brilliance in Friends as millionaire Pete Becker. Gwyneth Paltrow looks adorable as usual and Scarlett Johansson, who is fast becoming one of my favourite movie stars after He’s Just Not That Into You, rocks as an action-heroine!

Lots of fun, action and hotness in the form of Robert Downey Junior and Mickey Rourke after The Wrestler fires up the screen!

An Education

Starring – Carey Mulligan, Olivia Williams, Emma Thompson, Peter Saarsgard and  Dominic Cooper.

One for a Sunday afternoon. Lovely little film set in 1961.  Carey Mulligan totally shines as the young girl who forms a romantic attachment with a much older man.

Sex and the City 2

Starring – Sarah Jessica Parker and all the SATC gang!

The girls take a trip to Abu Dhabi, you can only imagine the adventures they go on!

Must say, I was a little under-whelmed with the second movie but it is worth watching just for a little girly fun.

Right now on my dvd desk I have: Trainspotting, Man on Wire and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button –  are they any good?
