I miss live music. I miss guitar riffs. I miss a packed concert venue singing along with the band. I miss that almost trance like state where you get lost in a live song. I thought going to gigs would be easier once I moved to the capital but alas this hasn’t been the case. Either I have no one to go with or the tickets are sold out.
I am writing a column on the inspiration music gives. It will be out in the Eastern Eye news paper in a few weeks.

My sis just went out to Camden last weekend to see 3 amazing bands play for £5. You’ve just got to look for the right events. But if you’re talking about commercial bands and singers, no chance. Even festivals are too much work to get tickets for now.

Tell me about it! thing is like I say for the smaller bands I have no one to go with and for commercial bands a nightmare to get tickets for. No win scenario.
