Want a fun night out while doing your bit for charity?
Do you want to raise awareness for Multiple Sclerosis Society during MS Week 23 – 29 May ?
Wanna boogie to some tuuuunes at the Loom Bar, London – Tuesday 24 May at 6pm?
Well then you need to check out the first ever “Summer Jam” charity fundraiser night out, in aid of the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society.
Relive the sounds of your youth and get down to Old School RnB, Garage and House Classics with Mellzo and DJ Shai Guy on the decks all night. This night promises to make you feel good, while doing some good for charity.
Summer Jam is all about having fun and raising money and awareness for the MS Society during MS Week (23-29 May 2011). If you fancy creating the soundtrack for the night yourself, you’ll be able to make your own requests for just £2 a pop, or three songs for £5.
Partygoers will be able to choose the price of their ticket, with a minimum charge of £5.
There will also be the chance to win a cash prize in the raffle. All proceeds go to the MS Society.
The night will feature a special live performance from top singing talent Arjun, who will be performing some of his hits including Stargazer and Remember Tonight.
Jyoti Badwal, co-creator of Summer Jam, said: “I felt the need to raise awareness for the illness from seeing my father live with MS. So not only will this be a great night out with top DJs and live music, more importantly, we’ll raise funds for a charity which means so much to me. Hopefully with the success of the night, we can make it a regular event!”
Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a condition of the central nervous system. It is the most common disabling neurological disease among young adults and affects around 100,000 people in the UK. The MS Society has organised MS Week as a chance to raise awareness of it by reaching out to people who don’t know much about the condition.*
A representative from the MS Society will be there on the night to answer your questions about the condition and how the organisation helps those living with MS.
All the proceeds from the night will go to the MS Society to help fund medical research and their network of groups around the country, who support those suffering and their families.
